The progress on clinical staging model in schizophrenia

Abstract: This paper summarizes the research progress of clinical staging model in schizophrenia. The clinical staging model focuses on the course and progression of diseases and provides innovative assessment tools for psychiatrists and clinical psychologists. We reviewed the description of the different stages, clinical course, main features of each stage, and therapeutic schedule according to research team and clinical practice guidelines. The aim is to improve effective intervention measures and treatment methods of each stage, prevent the onset or the progress of schizophrenia, and improve the prognosis of schizophrenia.
