Abstract: This article describes the results of the measuring of the amount of zinc, copper and iron in the sperm,Serum and hair of 53 fertile men and 92 sterile men.Except that the amount of zinc in the sperm of and the st erile patients is lower than the fertile, the amount of copper iron in the sperm, serum and the amount of copper and iron in the hair of the sterile are all higher than those of the fertile, but there is no difference in the amount of zinc in the hair between the fertile and the sterile. In this experiment 92 sterile patients were divided into three groups. The first group includes those whouse sperm contains no spermatozoa. The sperm of the sterile in the second group is not qualified for fertility. The sperm of the patients in the third group cannot be liquefied. The reducing of the amount of zinc in the sperm of those Whose sperm is not qualified for fertility is usually associated with poor or insufficient liquefaction of the sperm or the increase of leucocytes in the sperm.Treating the inflammation of innerreproductive organs can improve the quality ofthe sperm.
