Abstract: The total flavonoids content in the extract of bluish dogbane was de-terminated by spectrophotometic technic. The total flavonoids content of Waterls extract, alcohol's extract and alcohol's insoluble part of bluish dogbane from Xinjiang are 2.85% 7.99% and 0.28% respectively and that of the waterls extract of bluish dogbane from Jiangsu is 4.9%. The CV of the measurements Was 1.09%, 0.94% and 0.63%. The mean recovery was 97.4%.
