The Clinical Manifestation and MRI of Brain Stem Tumour

Abstract: 11 cases of Brain stem tumour were reported. Disturbance of ocular mo-vement, dysphagy, Weakness of extremity & unstable gait are common. MRI was performed in 8 cases of them. Abnormal findings were seen in all. The MKI features of most Brain stem tumours are long T1 & long T2. The middle sagittal section shows the fullest batail. MRI is considereda better diagriostic procedure than CT scan.
