Abstract: 23 cases of fibrous tumours in the maxillo-facial bone were comparati vely studied between their radiation appearanecs and pathology. Among of cases, 12 cases were ossifying fibroma, 7 cases were cementifying fibroma, 3 cases were odontogenic fibroma. The relationship between the pathological structures of every kind of fibro-tumours and X-ray density were comparatively observed. The result indicated that although the initial diagnosis for ossifying-fibroma might be aquired according to the X-ray findings, the ultimate diagnosis should be obtained combined with the pathological structures. Cementifying fibroma might be diagnosed by X-ray findings alone.
