Abstract: A new kind of iron-supplementary drug——iron(Ⅲ)-tremella fuciformis polysaccha-ride complex(ITC)was synthesized with FeCl3 and tremella fuciformis.Because it was not free Fe3+in the ITCsolution, therefore this complex was very stabe. The investigation by infrared spectra, ultracentrifugation and electron microscopy showed that structure of ITCwas an interracial compex with β-(FeOOH)n.core and a high polymer. The diameters of complex particles ranged from 30~80 nm.Because it was not precipitated and dissociated at the physiological pH it higher bioavailability would be expected.
