Abstract: Immunocytochemical LSAB methods were used to show changes of progesterone receptor in endometrium. We found that progesterone receptor located in the nucleus of uterine endometrium cell, stroma cell and smooth muscle cell, but not in their cytoplasma.During disestrus the uterine muscular cell and endometrium cell showed positive reaction (1+).There was no difference between them.In estrus, the endometrial cell and gland epithelium showed comparatively strongly positive result(1.5+),but muscular cell remained the same. The results indicated that progesterone receptor play an important role in the preparation of blastula implantation.
