Abstract: Fifteen artificial joint replacement were performed for fracture of the femoral neck in fifteen patients who had NIDDM(non-insulin depend diabetes mellitus). The results were excellent in two years follow-up. There were no complications. Authors consider that artificial joint replacement should be the treatment for NIDDM patients with fracture of the femoral neck. The careful management in the peri-and post-operation is important.
