Study on Clinical Characteristics and Pre-surgical Evaluation of Intractable Epilepsy

Abstract: The aim was to analyze and conclude some of clinical and pathological features of intractable epilepsy. The research mainly analyzed the etiology, clinical performance, pre-surgical evaluations and pathology of 26 intractable epilepsy patients. Results: Children stage onset of seizure (especially<1 year), complex partial seizure alone or combining with other type of seizures were all common clinical features; while degenerative neuron damages and reactive neuronglia were the common pathological changes. There were some common clinical and pathological characteristics at intractable epilepsy.
