The Effect of Different Rehabilitative Techniques on Hemiplegia Extremity in Stroke Patient Treated with Hip Replacement

Abstract: Objective To observe the effect of different rehabilitative techniques on hemiplegia extremity in stroke patient treated with hip replacement.Methods Thirty-four patient who had femoral neck fracture on the hemiplegia extremity were treated with hip replacement,and followed at two-week,three-month,six-month post-operation respectively.Twenty-two case had regular rehabilitation programs(control group),twelve case had new techniques and cited some stroke rehabilitation training techniques on the basis of regular rehabilitation programs(observe group).The effects was evaluated with Harris Hip score,Kendall-Percentage of muscle strength grading standards and Berg Balance Scale.Results The observe group got significant improvement in muscle strength,hip function,balance-coordination and pain-release(P<0.05).Conclusion New techniques and some stroke rehabilitation techniques can be used as a supplement of regular rehabilitation programs on hemiplegia extremity in stroke patient treated with hip replacement.
