Abstract: Objective Using the continuous flash suppression to explore the relationship between insight and unconscious self-face recognition in schizophrenia patients. Methods Totally 28 schizophrenia patients who met the diagnostic criteria of International Classification of Disease 10th Revision (ICD-10) were selected for a survey of unconscious self-face recognition and their insight was evaluated. Results The response time ratio of the self-face was positively correlated with the score of awareness of current illness, awareness of past illness, attribution of current illness, and attribution of past illness (r=0.439, 0.473, 0.393, 0.381, all P<0.05). Conclusion Schizophrenia patients who have more insight can recognize their own face more quickly in unconscious state.
