The Preliminary Observation on the Activity of the Erythrocyte Membrane Ca²⁺ ATPase of Essential Hypertension Patients

Abstract

Abstract: The membrane Ca²⁺-ATPase has the function as the pump to transport the intracelluar Ca²⁺. This work observed the activity of thc erythrocytes membrane of 20 hypertension patients and 20 normal subjects.The results have showed that hypertension patients have the lower activity of erythrocytes membrane Ca²⁺-ATPase than the normal subjects。The urine Ca²⁺ excretion of hypertension patients is increaed significantly than the normal group.
