Dynamical Change of Fibronectin in Experimental Liver Fibrosis

Abstract

Abstract: The concentration of fibronectin (Fn) in plasma and its distribution in liver Were observed. The result showed that the deposition of Fn in liver correlated with the severity of liver fibrosis, and the concentration of plasma Fn is eleveted significantly in early stage of liver fibrosis. When the contents of collagen deposition in liver cama to maximum, the concentration of plasma Fn decreased and was lower than control group. It suggests that Fn may take part in raising the deposition of collagen in fibrosis and serves as an early diagnostic marker of liver fibrosis.
