Abstract: The effects of kentanserin on ischemiarepurfusion ventricular fibrillation and left ventricular pressure +dp/dtmax and -dp/dmax in rats were studied in order to clarify the relationship between the bolcker of 5-HT2 receptor and myocardium ischemiarepurfusion injury. The results indicated that the kentanserin reduced the change of ischemic myocardium function and repurfusion ventricular fibrillation. It suggests that 5-HT2 receptor is related to the change of ischemic myocardium function and repurfusion ventricular arrhthymia.

Key words: kentanserin, 5-HT2 receptor, myocardium ischemia-repurfusion injury
