Abstract

Abstract: The objective of the study was to evaluate the effect of human PMN on Streptococcus HlpA release. Streptococcus was cultured with human PMN in different proportions and Western Blot was done to measure HlpA in the culture supernatant. There was one protein band combined specifically with anti-HlpA on Western Blot. The result indicates HlpA could be released from Streptococcus after being treated with human PMN, which is more than spontaneous release.
