Clinical Evaluation of Nasal Physiology

Abstract: Recently, endoscopic sinus surgery and advances of rhinological research in China have undergone tremendous progress and great achievements. However, contract to current technological advancements the understanding of the pathophysiology in nasal diseases need to be improved. The physiological functions of nose include respiratory function, nasal resistance, olfaction, mucociliary clearance, filtration, air conditioning, immunological function, sensation and voice resonance. And the reliable methods of clinical evaluation are under development.
