A total of 53 neurons responding to cervical dorsal column stimulation were intra- and extracellularly recorded and identified mainly in laminae Ⅱ-Ⅵ of the lumbar spinal dorsal horn in anesthetized rats. Of them, 39 units were dorsal column postsynaptic (DCPS) neurons in terms of their responses meeting criteria for antidromicity. The antidromic responses of 15 of these neurons were followed by one or more synaptic responses with different intervals, suggesting some DCPS neurons receive decending innervation from the dorsal column nuclei (DCN). The other 21 units merely showed postsy- naptic responses to dorsal column stimulation and might thus be interneurons innervated from DCN in the dorsal horn.

The sternoclei domastoid and trapezius muscles of the rabbit were separately injected by CT-HRP in order to trace their original neurons in the spinalcord. The results showed that the sternocleidomastoid and trapezius motoneurons were localized in two distinct cell columns in the ventral horn of the cervical spinal cord, The sternocleidomastoid motoneurons were found in a dorsomedial position of the ventral horn in C

segments. The mean diameter of the soma was 29.3μm, slightly smaller than those of the ster nocleidomastoid motoneurons. The dentrites of the sternocleidomastoid and trapezius motoneurons were extentively distributed in the gray matter and extended into the white matter. The dentrites of the sternocleidomastoid motoneuront were especially distributed to the central gray. The results provided a morphological foundation for ditcussing the functional differences between the sternocleidomastoid and trapezius muscles.

In this study, the feasibility of storing adrenal medulla tissue at low temperature was investigated by observing the morphology of graft cells and testing the change of rotation behavior in model rat of Parkinsonism after transplantation. The medulla tissue taken from adult Sprague-Dawley rats, frozen at the rate of decreasing 1 to 2℃ per minute, stored at -196℃ for one week, were transplanted into the caudate nucleus of host brain, where the unilateral substantia nigra was damaged by 6-hydroxydopamine. Test for rotation behaviour induced by apomorphine showed that the rotation reduced partly after operation; Histological examination revealed that the shapes of graft cells and the feature of staining did not change after frozen; histo- fluorescent observation showed the graft cells still maintain the function of producing catecholamine. It is suggested that freezing to low temperature does not adversely affect the biological character of adrenal medulla tissue, and the frozen-stored method may be utilized for setting up adrenal medulla tissue bank.

The experiments were performed on 64 guinea pigs. Artificial respiration was carried out under general anesthesia. Before and after graded hypoxia lead Ⅱ electrocardiogram was recorded and myocardial adenosine level, blood K

Were measured to explore the relationship between dromotropic and chronotropic arrhythmias and endogenous adenosine during hypoxia by synchronous quantitative study of three variables-degree of poxemia, changes in electrocardiogram and myocardial level of adenosine. Experimental results disclosed that (1) A close relation existed between the changes in cardiac rhythm and endogenous myocardial adenosine caused by hypoxia; (2) aminophylliue antagonized the negative dromotropic and chronotripic arrhythmias and there existed a cause and effect relation between the endogenous myocardial adenosine and such hypoxia arrhythmias; (3) Vagal drive, K

and pH had little if any bearing on the functional inhibition of the S-A and A-V nodes during the period of short-term hypoxia encountered in such cases.

The study defines the primordial Germ cells (PGCs) of the Early Mouse Embryo containing ALKaline Phosphatase (AKP). The other somal cells did not contain AKP. According to that, AKP is the marked enzyme of PGCs. The AKP is localized the in cytoplasm of PGCs, but the nucleus was negative. LNAse is strongly positive and it was found by the author. LNAse was more positive than AKP in the PGCs. I think that LNAse also may be the enzyme made by PGCs. There has been no report about the LNAse in PGCs. There are three kinds of PGCs. The big ceils are 30μm, the midile cells are 15-20μm and the small cells are 10μm in diameter. The big cells are different from the somal cells and the small cells are difficult to differentiate from the somal cells. We have studied ACP, NSE, ATPase, SDH, Lipin, Glycogen and G-6- Pase. They all were weakly positive or negative.

The microscopic changes of the arterial tissues which are near the burned area and no damges observed with naked eyes were examined with semi-and ultra-thin sections, In the blood vessel walls, there are vacuoles which are formed by molecular gasfication in the cell and mesenchyme besides, These vacuoles concentrate in the surface of the vessel walls, they can give rise to separation of surface even though the tissue is in the process regenerative repair, To do arterial anastomosis at this area can lead to the complication of thrombosis after clinical operation, This article has discussed the pathogenesis of gasfication.

The determination of ultimate residue of fenvalerate in soybean and soil of soydean fild was carried out with gas chromatography. The residue was within the scope allawed by FAO/WHO when 8g/mu or 4g/mu of active ingredient of fenvalerate was applied, The residue dynamic equation of fenvalerate in Soybeen-plants and the soil was negtive exponential function, The Half-Life of fenvalerate in the soybean-plants was 2.56 d and 7.7 d in the soil.

A signal acquisition and output system controlled by a microcomputer was used to extend the function of polygraph (Model SJ-41). As a result, its frequency response increased to 1000Hz. His bundle electrograms of the rabbit and guinea pig in situ could be clealy recorded by using this technique.
