Abstract: Autologous superior cervical ganglion transplantation was performed into the different places in rat’s brain where the nigro-striatal dopamine system was unilaterally destoried by 6-OHDA injection. Two different locations for grafts were tested, namely the caudate and the putament.Almost the same effect on recovering ratationlal behaviour induced by apo-morphine was acheived in both groups. The intensity of ratation was about 50 per cent de-crease afer grafting.Catecholamine fluroscence histoehemical study showed good survival of grafted tissue.
