Abstract: The objective was to explore the functional changes of cellular immunity during experimental spleen-deficiency syndrome combined with gastric ulcer.Using immunohistochemistry, laser con-focal microscopy to examine the activity of IL-2 secreted by immunocytes in mesenteric lymph node. The results showed that the level of IL-2 were all higher in 4 d and 14 d in gastric ulcer group, but decreased during in spleen-deficiency group and group with spleen-deficiency and gastric ulcer. It indicates that the function of cellular immunity of the body will decrease when spleen-deficiency and spleen-deficiency combined with gastric ulcer syndrome developed to some degree.

Key words: spleen-deficiency combined with gastric ulcer syndrome, cellular immunity, interleukin-2, mesenteric lymph node
