Abstract: The aim was to establish a method for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) of mitochondria without mitochondrial DNA extraction. In high temperature, the membrane of mitochondrial was broken and intracellular DNA leaked out.DNA was analyzed by the PCR method. The amplified product was as much as the product which acquired from purified mitochondrial DNA.The studies suggest that this method is adapted to the common mitochondrial DNA amplified test.
