Abstract: To test the realtionship between Ki-67 index and apoptosis in the pancreas cancer cell line Bxpc-3, apoptosis was inducted by 1,25(OH)2D3 in the pancreas cancer cell line. We compared the cell number by MTT, determined quantitatively apoptosis cells by TUNEL, detected the expression of Ki-67 index by immunohistochemical. Results suggested that the expression of the Ki-67 index was decreased during apoptosis induced by 10-8mol/L 1,25(OH)2D3 in Bxpc-3 cell line. There was negative correlation between the apoptosis and the expression of Ki-67 index. Comprehensive analysis of the apoptosis and Ki-67 index reflects the balance of proliferation and apoptosis.
