Abstract: Oneogenes appear to be involved in tumorigenesis of human brain tumours via qualita-tive and quantitative alterations.Twenty eases of the human brain turnouts were studied by DNA amplification with the dot blot method.c-erb B(0.5 kb)oncogene was used as probe. The result showed that the c-erb B amplification was found in seven menigioma and ten cases of glioma Ⅲ or glioblastoma multiform. It is suggested that c-erb B oneogene plays an important role in the development of human brain tumour.

Key words: human brain tumour, oncogene amplification, c-erb B oneogene
