Abstract:

The Lewis lung carcinoma was transplanted into subcutaneous tissues of the black BDF1 mouse. Twelve days later, the tumors were heated with WZJ-1 theraputic machine at 43 ℃ for 50min. Observations were made under light and electron microscope to find the morphological changes of the damaged tumor cells. At 17th day after transplantation, metastasis of tumor was observed. The result was as follows:local hyperthermia inhibited both the growth of the primary tumor and(P<0.05)metastasis significantly(P<0.01);local hyperthermia could rapidly and specifically damage the tumor cells; could rapidly increase the central temperature of the tumor and also reduce the pH value of the tumortissue.
