Abstract:

In ischemia reperfusion, blood supply to tissues and organs was blocked, and blood flowing can aggravate the situation of tissue injury during reperfusion. In the past, studies were focused on the oxygen free radical damage, energy metabolism, intracellular calcium overload, leukocyte adhesion, endothelial cell injury and other theories about ischemiareperfusion injury(IRI) mechanism. However, the role of cytokines in IRI is increasingly reported recently. The latest research shows that IL-17secreting Th17 cells play an important role in the process of IRI. In this article, the roles of Thl7 cells and the cytokine IL-17 in ischemia-reperfusion injury are summarized.

Key words: ischemiareperfusion injury, cytokine, immunolesion
