Abstract: The kind and chemistry component of cells in decidual tissue of human early pregnancy has been studied by many histochemical methods. There are two kind of cells in the decidua tissue: big cell and small cell. They are almost equal in quantity. There are rich in glycogen, Lipid, Lipase, Nse, G-6-Pase, AP, SDH, 3-β-HSDH and AKP in the cytoplasm of big cells. Big cells contain more chemical components. There are ACP and ATPase in the cytoplasm of small cells. some of the small cells contain acid mueopolysaccharide, only about 21 percent of small cells contain granule. The small cells of not contain granule will be studied further. According to our study it seems that big cells are same in morphology and many kind of function, while the small cells are different both in morphology and function.
